Caroline Kioko

Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Caroline Kioko is a seasoned professional in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) with a focus on gender-transformative program design, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) within the Community Development and Natural Resource Management sectors. She is recognised for developing data-driven strategies that enhance program impact, reinforce accountability, and embed continuous learning throughout organisations.
Caroline brings extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and organizational learning, with a strong track record of guiding teams to deliver results at scale. She has successfully led and contributed to impactful consulting assignments for leading institutions and organizations including IUCN-ESARO, University of Exeter (UK), SNV, WWF Kenya, Hivos Kenya, Avina, South South North, Slum Dwellers International (SDI), Akina Mama wa Afrika, and Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy and Development, with evidence that has informed national and regional policy processes and guided development priorities.
She holds a BSc in Project Planning and Management from Maasai Mara University, and her Master’s in Gender and Development Studies at Kenyatta University is 90% complete. Caroline has completed a Data Analytics certification (Excel, SQL, Power BI) from Moringa School and is pursuing Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate status. She also holds certifications in Safeguarding (RSH UK), Climate Finance (YOUNGO-UNFCCC), and Project Governance & PMO (Open University).
With advanced proficiency in NVivo, SPSS, Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Asana project management software, as well as survey tools such as Kobo Toolbox, Survey CTO, and ODK Collect, Caroline combines technical excellence with strategic insight. By embedding safeguarding principles into M&E systems, she ensures that programs are not only impactful but also ethical, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable groups.
Caroline is passionate about driving organizational excellence, strengthening institutional capacity, and providing visionary leadership that empowers communities and influences systemic change.
