CPA James Kimani

James is an experienced accounting, finance, and audit professional with a background in managing audits, ensuring compliance, and enhancing financial controls. He has expertise in assessing and mitigating risks, identifying weaknesses in internal controls, and improving overall financial governance. His areas of specialization include risk management, financial reporting, tax advisory, internal control reviews, and implementing processes to boost operational efficiency and minimize financial risks.
Before joining The Maa Trust, James served as an internal auditor at Caritas Nairobi and as an auditor at Moore JVB LLP.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management Finance and Banking option from Moi University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK).
James is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Institute of Internal Auditors Kenya (IIA)
