
Geofrey Oduwo
Head of Design, Quality and Impact
Geofrey Oyoo Oduwo is a seasoned expert in Consulting, Design, Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability, Research & Learning, Data Analytics, and Impact Evaluation, with over 15 years of experience driving evidence-based decision-making across humanitarian, development, and conservation sectors. His work spans WASH, Food Security and Livelihoods, Health, Education, Climate Resilience, and Wildlife Conservation, supporting INGOs, Public and Private sector organizations across Africa and beyond.
Currently the Head of Design, Quality, and Impact at The Maa Trust, Geofrey leads Programme Design & Development, Quality Assurance & Accountability, MEL systems, and strategic learning to strengthen community-driven development in the Maasai Mara. He previously held leadership roles at World Relief, Evidence Action, ACNielsen, and Population Services Kenya, managing multi-country evaluations and data governance initiatives funded by global partners including USAID, AfDB, and DFID.
Geofrey brings deep technical expertise in impact evaluation, public policy analysis, and advanced statistical modeling, and is proficient in tools such as Stata, SAS, SPSS, Power BI, SQL, ArcGIS, NVIVO, SurveyCTO, and DHIS2. He has developed MEAL frameworks and Theories of Change for programs across 10+ countries and is passionate about building institutional capacity for adaptive, data-driven programming.
A published researcher and certified Mental Health First Aider, Geofrey holds an MSc in Social Statistics from Kenyatta University and a BSc in Statistics & IT from Maseno University. He also holds certifications in Behavioral Science (World Bank), Data Privacy, and Grant Writing among others. Geofrey currently serves as the Chairman, Statistical Society of Kenya (SSK), Board Chair, Bongia Primary School and a former Chairman of Kenyans in Nigeria Association (2016-2019).
