Our Mobile Shop Launch
As part of our commitment to innovative, community-responsive solutions, we are delighted to share that The Maa Trust is launching an exciting new initiative this year, a mobile shop that will serve camps across the Mara.

This initiative is donated by I&M Bank under the develoPPP project. This innovative project is designed to bring Maa Beadwork products closer to guests and surrounding communities, increasing accessibility while showcasing the exceptional creativity and craftsmanship of our artisans. By taking our products directly to where guests are, the mobile shop will strengthen market access for community-made goods and ensure that local communities directly benefit from wildlife-based tourism.
Maa Bees
The completion of the Maa Bees Honey Processing Unit marks an important step forward for our beekeeping community. The facility brings us closer to a fully dedicated space that will improve honey quality, strengthen value addition, and open up better market opportunities for local beekeepers.

With equipment installation currently ongoing, the unit is steadily moving towards full operationalization. This achievement reflects the power of partnership and shared vision, made possible through the generous support of Saruni Basecamp Foundation, Tusk, and IEEE Smart Village. Together, we are building sustainable livelihoods and a stronger future for our honey farmers.
